Climate change is scary, and you're already reduce-reuse-recycling. How can you step up your game and help shape a more resilient, more sustainable future for your community? By using your voice! It's your representatives & senators' job to represent your ideas and needs at the State House - but how can they know what you want them to do if you don't tell them?
Â
At this advocacy workshop (led by a Mass Rivers Alliance Policy Specialist), you will learn how to contact your elected officials, make your case, and most importantly, why it matters. Come meet fellow climate-minded folks and learn how to be confident, prepared participant in state and local policy.
Come by at 7:00pm for drinks, snacks, and an engaging evening of action!Â
The Massachusetts Rivers Alliance is a statewide non-profit organization with 84 member groups dedicated to protecting and restoring the rivers and streams of the Commonwealth. Mass Rivers works directly with state agencies, legislators, and conservation organizations to advance climate resilience. On March 15, they're hosting the state's largest environmental advocacy day at the State House, Lobby for the Rivers Day - come join in speaking up for rivers!
